Lake Levico and its moderate temperature

Relax between a walk, a swim and a visit to the free beach of Lago di Levico – enjoy the peace and tranquillity in summer and in winter

The lake of Levico Terme, in Trentino, is an oasis of peace. In summer as well as winter, its contained shape between low mountains gives the idea of a protected corolla of sheltered repose, away from stress and problems. The second largest in Valsugana, the lake of Levico Terme is a peaceful alternative to Lake Caldonazzo, which in the summer is much more crowded because of the water sports area. In the lake near Levico Terme in Trentino, you can relax with a swim or ride on a pedalò (pedal boat), taking your own time and space. The shores are well equipped with two bathing facilities, but for those who prefer it, there is also a long stretch of public beach.
Around the lake there is a beautiful route, the Via dei Pescatori, a flat walk through the green wooded area where the spirit is restored, going around the entire body of water in 2 and a half hours. At the southern end of the lake is the biotope of Canneto di Levico, a protected cove where you can observe the typical fauna of the lake. The reed bed is a protected area of great environmental and ecological value, located in Valsugana and the rest of Trentino, where there are patches of habitat that are still intact.
From the balconies of our Hotel Ambassador and of our Hotel Ariston and basking in the water of our swimming pools, the view of Lake Levico is splendid. With the shape of the fjord, of a cobalt blue surrounded by luxuriant forests, it is a tonic for the eyes and spirit. A few meters from the hotel, and you are already there, ready to lie on the lawns shaded by trees or dive into the water. The temperature of the lake is one of the mildest in Southern Europe, so the elderly, children and those who suffer from the cold can safely enjoy the water for hours.
