Valsugana and Lagorai is a very interesting area for lovers of two wheels, with or without an engine. The winding roads of the Lagorai mountain are great fun for motorcyclists, with unforgettable views. For bike lovers, through mountain and valley, there is a dense network of paths and routes that are some of the most beautiful in Trentino, and really worth a try. At Hotel Ambassador and Hotel Ariston we are equipped to accommodate our guests, lovers of two wheels, in the best possible way. Levico Terme is an ideal starting point for wonderful excursions. First of all, we are well informed, and have maps and charts of the area available, and we know the best routes from experience. Therefore we have equipped spaces for your rides: a covered parking area for bikes and motorbikes, a small workshop for minor repairs and a washing area. For those who come without a bike we have a rental service. Technical gear can also be safely washed and dried in our laundry. Finally, in our wellness centre, Lagorai & SPA, you can completely relax and recuperate your energies after an intense day.

Cycling and mountain biking

In Valsugana each cyclist finds his environment, depending on the type of bike he uses and the level of difficulty he seeks. Mountain bikers can explore over 400 km of marked trails with GPS, the incredible Dolomiti Lagorai Bike circuit, which connects the Eastern Trentino in 1000 km of routes. For those who travel by racing bike instead, the Valsugana cycle route winds along the Brenta River through the valley of Lake Caldonazzo to Bassano del Grappa: 80 km of beauty and culture between Trentino and Veneto, along the historicVia del Brenta route. The route is mostly flat, easy to cycle with good services. Along the route there are good places to eat in Levico Terme and Tezze; nearby there are also many rental, repair and bike-sharing outlets. The return trip is made easier by the bike transport service offered by the railways in the summer and by the bus system from April to October.

Motorcycle passion

For motorcycles, there are many possibilities. One particularly attractive route we suggest along with the Trentino in Moto club, is the Kaiserjäger-Straße. In the section that connects the Valsugana to the plateaus of Folgaria, Lavarone and Vezzena, passing through Monterovere at 1255 m, the route is truly fascinating, carved into the rock walls that overlook the Valsugana.
