The natural cliffs of the Lagorai, from the Crozi di Sella to the Placche dell’Armentera, are an interesting terrain for climbers to explore. There are many routes, different rock types and degrees of climbing difficulty: from the cliffs to the fissures, from small holds to large handles, the routes are a challenge for those who love this sport. For those who want to test their balance and face the heights, at Centa San Nicolò near Caldonazzo is the Acropark, a vertical climbing obstacle course, fun for both children and adults!

Water, land and sky

The mild summer climate lets you explore the surroundings of Levico Terme, immersed in the elements of this fascinating area of Trentino. The Valsugana, with its gentle hill plains, its lakes and steep mountain ridges, can be intensely experienced in the variety of sports on water, land and in the air.
The Levico and Caldonazzo lakes are first and foremost a haven for those who love water sports. For those who love the adrenaline of rafting, on the Brenta River there are 10 km of varying difficulty from paddling, in some places for families, to challenges for professionals in others.
From the water you go to the air, and for those who love to fly a paraglider, at the top of the Panarotta, at 2000 m of height, is a formidable take-off point for travelling over the magnificent Valsugana, the Brenta Dolomites and the Lagorai. For adventure, there is the “Volo Libero Trentino” club, in Vetriolo Terme.
Finally, from the air to the land, a fascinating underground world awaits you in the famous caves of Castello Tesino, the only ones that can be visited in the Trentino region. Otherwise, another wonderful way to experience the land is in the saddle on horseback. Horse breeding and riding are an important part of the culture of Valsugana, and therefore, there are numerous equestrian centres and riding schools. Not to be missed is the horse trail ippovia del Trentino Orientale, a trail that winds throughout the Lagorai in stages.
